CCIA meeting with Ambassador Luo Zhaohui

On May 24, 2016, CCIA delegation met with Mr. Luo Zhaohui, Chinese Ambassador to Canada. Minister of the Chinese Embassy Wang Wentian, Minister-Counsellor (Education) Yang Xinyu and Minister-Counsellor (Culture) Zhao Haisheng attended the meeting.
Ambassador Luo welcomed President Zhang and his party to Canada, and briefed them on the latest developments in China-Canada relations. He commended CCIA’s efforts to promote China-Canada cultural and educational exchanges and develop cooperation between cultural industries of the two countries. He said the Chinese Embassy welcomes CCIA’s further more collaboration with Canada. He also hoped that more Chinese organisations or entities in cultural and creative industries will come and explore business and cooperation opportunities in Canada and contribute to better mutual understanding between the two peoples.
President Zhang Bin briefed the ambassador on the development of China’s cultural and creative industries, and the promotion of Chinese culture worldwide through partnerships or other forms of cooperation with cultural and creative industries players of other countries.
